The one you get when you’re preparing yourself to have a tough conversation with someone? Your heart is pounding, your hands are shaking, and you feel like your stomach is about to fall out of your butt. Yep, that one is happening right now.

My company got iPads for the whole sales force! I have a brand new enthusiasm for hitting the streets and making fancy presentations next week!
There’s nothing like a new toy to make me want to work even harder!
We usually get her all set up with her breakfast and a little Thomas the Train on TV and we go about our morning routine, periodically walking through to check on her. Normally, it’s no problem. She watches her show, eats her breakfast, and doesn’t make too much of a mess.
Until today.
She thought it would be super fun to mash up her banana and then use it like some sort of hair slime. I walked in to find her hair standing on end with chunks of banana really worked into it. So we had to take an unscheduled morning bath. The upside is that I was only 12 minutes late for work after that fiasco.
Life was easier when she was bald.
Rory had her 18 month checkup at the pediatrician today. She has had a major growth spurt since the last time we saw the doctor. She is now in the 80th percentile for her height and the 50th percentile for her weight.
From a momma who struggles with her weight…
